I4MS releases its ICT innovation for European SMEs brochure
The I4Ms ICT innovation for European SMEs brochure offers a wide view about the project developments, as well as the application experiments and their evolution.
The recently launched ICT innovation for European SMEs brochure presents the latest services and technologies that the I4MS initiative, as part of the Digital Innovation Hubs programme, is offering to manufacture SMEs, mid-caps and technology providers who are interested in integrating Industry 4.0 technologies into their production processes and value chain propositions.
It also intends to provide a summary of the latest technological proposals created by Innovation Actions working under the I4MS umbrella and examples of Application Experiments in which they were successfully deployed.
The four services offered by the initiative are access to leading-edge technologies through online marketplaces, the possibility to test by deploying Application Experiments, the online training catalogue, and the I4MS community.
The publication contains a description of the technologies supported by I4MS: Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) and Internet of Things (IoT), Additive Manufacturing, Robotics and High-Performance Computing (HPC). Each one represented by an Innovation Action which offers services through different market places. In addition, the I4MS project offers support to SMEs and mid-caps through its open calls offering financial and knowledge-based support to implement small pilot projects.
The online training catalogue provides an overview of the skills development trajectories for Industry 4.0 topics offered by Digital Innovation Hubs and Innovation Actions across Europe to support manufacturing SMEs in the digitalization of their production processes.
Finally, the I4MS community is an online collaborative space where companies and individuals can easily become acquainted with the latest digital technologies and get in contact with organizations and individuals who have experience deploying these technologies in industrial settings.
The publication helps to reinforce the I4MS goal of improving the competitiveness of the manufacturing sector through the innovative use of digital technologies. By offering content with the latest updates on the project, the interested parties have access to relevant information about how the state of the European manufacturing landscape is evolving.
